DONALYN, SHOWROOM MANAGER
Donalyn comes to The Bath + Beyond with over 20 years of experience in the kitchen and bath industry. Her life in the building industry began in New Jersey where she worked summers for VanNatta Mechanical, a family-owned plumbing and HVAC company. After graduating from Northeastern University, she worked in New York City before moving to California where she joined Standards of Excellence (aka McPhails Appliance). Donalyn dabbled in design, taking classes at Canada College and remodeling her own home. It gave her first-hand knowledge of the workings between designer, contractor and homeowner. Active in local industry associations, she served on the NKBA Northern California Board as Treasurer and VP of Communications. Passionate about people, her career always involves cultivating and growing relationships. Donalyn's strengths are marketing and events planing, she likes to bring ideas, people and products together. “It’s one of the things I look forward to most in my new role with The Bath + Beyond.”
MICHELLE, SHOWROOM CONSULTANT
With a degree in Interior Design from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Michelle joined our staff in 1988. She continues to be a favorite with our customers. Michelle has many repeat customers especially amongst interior designers and architects. All you have to do is tour the showroom with Michelle to understand that she is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to Decorative Plumbing. She is a California native and enjoys boating, photography, shopping, reading and travel. Every year you can count on Michelle spending vacation time in Hawaii or boating on the Delta. Fiji and Tahiti are on her travel wish list. Her favorite foods are Mexican and Chinese. She enjoys an eclectic mix of movies; movies inspired by Jane Austin books and Tom Clancy adventures. If she won the lottery she would retire and buy a house on the water.
COLLEEN, SHOWROOM CONSULTANT
Colleen joining The Bath + Beyond in 2002, Colleen has built up a strong client list and answering the question; What do you like about your clients, she answers – “that they love beautiful things and want to be involved in making their home special.” She enjoys hiking, biking, and puzzles such as Sudoku and Logic. In her free time, you will find her enjoying time with her friends and family – especially her grandchildren, watching movies, shopping, walking 3 dogs, and doing the laundry! Originating from the Pacific Northwest she enjoys Chinook salmon and Ahi tuna- a close second to chocolate chip cookies
ALLEN, SHOWROOM CONSULTANT
Allen received his degree in Interior Design in 1986. A Southern California native Allen worked in residential whole house design. He also spent time as an Art Director for Film and television. He is most proud of his work on 21 luxury condos in Hancock Park. A like for photography and travel, he’s always off to an interesting destination when vacation time rolls around. He enjoys travel to Florence, Italy and the Amalfi Coast. Paris is his favorite city and he is fluent in French. You might also see him zipping around San Francisco on his red Vespa. If you’re looking for that extra little design touch or detail, or that right puzzle piece to really make your project sing, Allen will be of great value to you. Movies enjoyed include period or action films and lottery winnings would be used for collecting sports cars.
CHARLENE, APPLIANCE SPECIALIST
Charlene joined the team to get The Bath + Beyond started on our new venture with appliances. She was introduced to the appliance industry doing presentations and cooking demonstrations for Gaggenau and Viking. Charlene spent the last 17 years of her career as Manager of the Dacor Culinary and Design Center where she created great opportunities for clients to experience the highest-level service. Charlene is active in our local trade associations. As Past President of the Northern CA NKBA chapter, she served on the board for many years. Charlene is a native San Franciscan who loves to cook and enjoys having her family over to teach her grandchildren how to cook. Charlene and her husband Bob love to travel, they took the train all over Europe from Budapest to Berlin and last year, Spain and the Amalfi coast. Charlene enjoys her Zumba and Yoga classes and walking with her husband around the beautiful city that is San Francisco.
SAM, SHOWROOM CUSTOMER SERVICE REP
Sam joined our team in 2013, he has a strong customer service background as well as kitchen and bath designing. Sam brings an upbeat and youthful attitude that makes our clients feel more excited about their projects. Besides working as a Showroom Customer Service Representative. Sam is the man with many hats. From helping with showroom displays to managing all social media including our website as well as planning showroom events. Whatever you need just ask Sam, he'll find an answer. He enjoys spending free time with family and friends, working out, hiking, and art and craft projects. He would love to take a Mediterranean cruise and if he won the lottery he would build his dream house.
CHRISTINA, OUTSIDE BUILDER SALES
Christina joined Ferguson in 2010 as a management trainee after receiving a Business degree from Chico State. She worked her way up through the warehouse, inside sales, and most recently manager of the Ferguson plumbing branch in the peninsula. In August 2020, she advanced into a new role as Outside Builder Sales. With her plumbing experience and hardworking team around her, she’s excited to work on new multi-family & residential projects, and develop relationships with our valued customers. As a Bay Area native, Christina enjoys spending time with her family and friends, eating and drinking her way through the city. She also loves hiking, bike riding, traveling, wine tasting, Giants games, and making ceramics on the potter’s wheel.
